I have loved the music of Eric Clapton since I was eleven, and Layla was a hit. I used to have a great great collection of LP-CD in the seventees and eightees... But now in this dvd times, I have rediscovered him in a way. And I am totally hung up with the song Holy Mother...
Any one who can tell me more ablut this song.
when it as written, was there a special moment in his life he wrote it(like tears in heaven)? I see he has not written it all by himself.. does he stand for the music or the text, and which dvd has the best version?

eric, I have been a fan since Yardbirds days, and used to attend the gigs in Richmond.I saw you four times at the Royal Albert Hall.
I was delighted to hear about the Clapton/Cream reunion, and tried to buy tickets for the gig, alas, to no avail they are far too expensive and I am bitterly dissapointed at the prospect of not attending the reunion. Have the days gone when one can hope for realistic priced tickets?

Eric, I have been a fan of yours since your days with the Yardbirds, I have every album you ever did. To me more than any other artist that I have ever listened to or have gone to seen live, you have taken me to places in my heart and mind that no drug or anyone person could ever do and you have given me more musical pleasure than anyone ever could..you are simply fantastic!!
